I feel like my thoughts on this .gif are largely affected by the animation's name. "Kinda Evil" easily works with the red light that fills the image. I definitely know my first perception of the image comes from the title, and next my attention is drawn to his smirk and the red light. The image has a Christmasy/AntiChristmas feel. The smile mixed with the drink (appears like liquor) and the red creates a sacrilegious image. It's definitely intriguing, and makes me curious about what exactly constitutes the evilness of the image - as my mind constructs that judgement as an attack on the alcohol.
